This so called them self "Ethical hackers" more times than not
working for letter agencies and unenthical to create
malware to spy on people, activist and whoever
does not agree with their policies.
Who are really ethical? we have to remind outself
that because something is done legaly or because a law loopwhole
does not make it ethical and should never be ethical.

Most government want to spy out the people.

In Germany, the SPD (social democratic party) tried and still tries to
create laws that enforces ISPs to spy out people by default - without
any suspiction.

Courts decided, that this is illegal, but the party still tries to pass
such laws.

The work against surveillance and censorship extremely decreased.
I can only read media about it, but in the 2000s, many people
demonstrated against DNS censorship. Politicians argued with child pr0n.

Now the use it to block unwanted media.
No demonstrations against it yet.
