To clarify ....

There are many valuable newsgroups on the msnews.microsoft.com server,
on nearly every available topic. Below are some of the most useful. (You
may want to read the Rules of Conduct for these newsgroups to get a
better idea about how they are conducted.)

See my catalogue of all Microsoft peer-to-peer newsgroups. Clicking the
links will automatically create the necessary account configuration in
Outlook Express. Also see Microsoft’s newsgroup portal sorted by topic.

For some great tips on how to write the best newsgroup post — to help
those who would help you find answers! — please first read the DTS-L
GoodPosts page or my article on Troubleshooting Windows.

I strongly encourage you to visit the newsgroups with a newsreader such
as Outlook Express or Windows Mail, instead of using Microsoft’s
alternate web interface. Generally, people seeking help are better able
to find answers posted to their questions, and generally better navigate
the newsgroup, using a newsreader than the web-based interface.
Microsoft agrees. The links below will automatically launch OE or
Windows Mail and take you to the correct newsgroup.

Dear Dimbulb,

Though your alcohol fueled brain still won't be able to comprehend
(since this flies well above your pay grade of 5 shots or more per
day/night/whatever), there's a distinct difference between your
bullshit forum (that none of us who matter care about, save you) and

===
Two HTTP Request Methods: GET and POST

Two commonly used methods for a request-response between a client and
server are: GET and POST.

GET - Requests data from a specified resource
POST - Submits data to be processed to a specified resource

The GET Method

Note that the query string (name/value pairs) is sent in the URL of a
GET request:
/test/demo_form.php?name1=value1&name2=value2

Some other notes on GET requests:

GET requests can be cached
GET requests remain in the browser history
GET requests can be bookmarked
GET requests should never be used when dealing with sensitive data
GET requests have length restrictions
GET requests should be used only to retrieve data

The POST Method

Note that the query string (name/value pairs) is sent in the HTTP
message body of a POST request:
POST /test/demo_form.php HTTP/1.1
Host: w3schools.com
name1=value1&name2=value2

Some other notes on POST requests:

POST requests are never cached
POST requests do not remain in the browser history
POST requests cannot be bookmarked
POST requests have no restrictions on data length

Usenet, OTOH, is entirely different altogether and uses NNTP (Network
News Transport Protocol) on port 119 (the default for most NNTP
SERVERS (notice I did not say "web" servers as these do not render
graphics/multimedia/etc.. to a client's news reader)

Web-based forums (such as your precious Aumha) do not use the NNTP
protocol nor do they require (much less use) port 119 to post messages
on their forums.

So in a nutshell, NNTP and HTTP are two completely different and
separate creatures... as Froze and I as well as others have been
saying all along.

===
Service names and port numbers are used to distinguish between
different services that run over transport protocols such as TCP, UDP,
DCCP, and SCTP.

Service names are assigned on a first-come, first-served process, as
documented in [RFC6335].

Port numbers are assigned in various ways, based on three ranges:
System Ports (0-1023), User Ports (1024-49151), and the Dynamic and/or
Private Ports (49152-65535); the difference uses of these ranges is
described in [RFC6335]. System Ports are assigned by IETF process for
standards-track protocols, as per [RFC6335]. User Ports are assigned
by IANA using the "IETF Review" process, the "IESG Approval" process,
or the "Expert Review" process, as per [RFC6335]. Dynamic Ports are
not assigned.

The registration procedures for service names and port numbers are
described in [RFC6335].

Assigned ports both System and User ports SHOULD NOT be used without
or prior to IANA registration.

===
Usenet is a very different beast to the World Wide Web. In its base
form, the WWW is a multitude of separate spaces containing the files
for a website. When you type in a URL, it directs the web browser to
the space and asks for a specific file, which is then loaded by your
web browser. Webpages are "connected" to each other via hyperlinks,
allowing you to jump from one page to the next.

Usenet content, on the other hand, is all mixed together in one giant
space. There are no hyperlinks, only indexes of all the files that are
kept there. Trying to find files in that space the same way that you
browse the World Wide Web (by typing in a URL) would be an absolute
nightmare, so Usenet data is accessed almost exclusively through a
separate program called a Usenet client.

Usenet differs from the WWW in that there are a number of Usenet
server farms which, instead of containing different data, all
communicate with each other to make sure that all data is available on
each server farm. This means that most of the data can be accessed by
anyone, regardless of which Usenet service provider they connect to or
where they are in the world.

[...]

The closest analogy to Usenet’s newsgroups are the discussion groups
(or forums) found on the World Wide Web. Newsgroups and forums have
some similarities:

Both are split into different sections/categories and
subsections/subcategories.

Conversations are contained within threads, which grow in size as
users reply to previous posts or otherwise contribute.

While the functionality between the two are very similar, the way that
each one works (that is, the backend that users can’t see) is very
different. That’s a little outside the scope of this guide, but
essentially it boils down to scale. Forums are contained on a single
web server and belong to a single website, requiring registration to
contribute. Newsgroups are not constrained to any one server and do
not require registration to post.

When a post is first made to a thread it may only be viewed by those
connected to that server, but within hours the post (along with all
the other posts made in that time) will be synchronized with every
other Usenet server so that anybody may see it and reply.

I deleted an earlier thread involving you and Dumble dAAvid with

He's still claiming M$ never used Usenet..
I claim SPANK!!
https://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/forum/windows_vista-desktop/microsoft-is-shutting-down-its-usenet-server-to/8e6faa1c-7527-47ee-9752-bf2931c29ea9
Google must not be his friend. :)
The links below will automatically launch OE or
Windows Mail and take you to the correct newsgroup.
http://aumha.org/support.htm
AUMHA is not MS, get that through your very thick skull.
You don't learn very quickly, do you?
READ what I post, Froz.
I do, then immediately regret it. Brain bleach is a rare commodity.
Either he's stupid (which there's no denying that) or he's confusing
(no denying that, either) this Aumha bullshit with news groups.
Time for a quick crash course in NNTP for teh dAAvid.
Dear Dimbulb,
Though your alcohol fueled brain still won't be able to comprehend
(since this flies well above your pay grade of 5 shots or more per
day/night/whatever), there's a distinct difference between your
bullshit forum (that none of us who matter care about, save you) and
Usenet.

As I said before, I'm in no way trying to 'compete' with you; I'd like
SOMEONE, perhaps you, to explain to me who is PAYING to keep the HUGE
encyclopedia of information available on line HERE:-

www.aumha.org

"James Eshelman says, here, http://aumha.org/jae.php .......

"Welcome! In July 1999, I began this site as a small collection of
articles gathered from my newsgroup posts and On Computers “Geek Speak”
radio broadcasts. With help and encouragement of friends and colleagues,
acceptance of the technical press, and the frequent visitation of
computer users around the world, it grew, in about a year and a half, to
become one of the most widely cited and referenced Windows web sites in
the world outside of www.microsoft.com itself."

As 'A.User' I once raised the matter here (with tongue in cheek!)

https://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/forum/windows_xp-performance/windows-support-center-could-it-be-resurected/20808bf7-6b91-4111-bbc7-0dec115243dd

Be sure to read ALL replies!

So ..... *CAN you tell* who is paying to keep the site up-and-running??

I take it you mean that you are not surprised that I find you to be
deliberately disingenuous. I guess that is as close as you can come to
making an apology for being a deliberate troll; I'll accept it as such.
I replied .....

I've just read here http://www.thefreedictionary.com/disingenuous
and I must agree that you are 100% correct.

Perhaps it's simply my way of trying to sort out "the wheat from the
chaff" as it were. I've 'met' quite a number of 'people' on-line who
have not been honest and truthful .... yet some others have proven to be
long-standing and interesting Facebook friends.

My real-life 'techie' boater friend laughed out loud when I once claimed
that folk like you think that I'm a 'Troll'!

found “raping” a mummy, an overweight man sued Golden Corral after he
was booted for staying too long, rat meat was sold as chicken wings in
the United States before the 2016 Super Bowl, a woman broke a world

cocaine across the Mexican border, a National Geographic journalist was
eaten alive by a giant sunfish, Edward Snowden said that Osama bin Laden
was alive and well under CIA protection, a fisherman caught a giant

Could you try to refrain from putting people's names in the
subject line ? This is Usenet.
Rikijo, Sycho's 'boss', is *NOT* a "name" either - it's a *pseudonym*!
Ah, a specialist in *pseudonyms*
23 and counting.
Indeed. A special investigator HAS to be prepared!
Obviously not you. You didn't post anything but a link to a
known malware site.
You are a *FRAUD* 'Shadow' ......
So you deny the 23 different nyms ?
Post by David B.
I posted *TWO* - different - links.
Just the one. A STALKING link. The "other one" was SPAM and
completely OFF TOPIC to the thread,
Post by David B.
*NEITHER* was to a "known malware site"
The Facekook one was. You said so yourself. Of course, I
didn't click on it. You've posted URLs to STOLEN COPYRIGHTED media and
STALKING threads in the past, and have shown you are not going to
change.

It makes sense that you'd point that out. People who engage in a
particular behavior tend to think that others do the same. Since you lie
much more often than not, you assume that others do, as well. Your logic
is deeply flawed, but you won't be able to see that, even now that it's
been pointed out to you. Your intelligence was probably never above
average to begin with, but your heavy drinking over the last decade or

Other than give him a good chuckle due entirely to the individual who
wrote the comment, I'm sure it did nothing else. You're the one who's
demonstrated on multiple occasions that you cannot be trusted with
any personal information. You recently let Savageduck learn this the
hard way for themselves when you decided to go ahead and address them
by their first name. I'm certain they regret providing you that
information and dread knowing you'll put whatever else they
mistakenly gave you to good use later on. They now have the
misfortune of knowing what was written about you in the digital photo
newsgroup wasn't a slime or smear campaign against you, it was a
warning to the regulars of that newsgroup that you're an invader of
the worst kind. A bacterial infection that's antibiotic resistant.

When you quit stalking and doing various other illegal things to your
victims, some of us can. Until you stop doing what you love doing
best though, we'll have to remain so as to warn new comers. The
objective isn't to let you make more victims, rather it's to keep you
from being able to do so as best as we're able.

I suppose you're lucky that we don't often steal each others

Could you try to refrain from putting people's names in the
subject line ? This is Usenet.
Rikijo, Sycho's 'boss', is *NOT* a "name" either - it's a
*pseudonym*!
Ah, a specialist in *pseudonyms*
23 and counting.
Indeed. A special investigator HAS to be prepared!
Are you claiming to be a professional in something which requires
proper licensing? Your police could tell anyone interested who
contacted them if you have the required license, right?

Perhaps you DID post as Kevin Donovan - there's no way anyone
could tell is there? On the assumption that you DID do so, send
me a 'Friend Request' on Facebook to substantiate your claim.
Bwahahahaha, I knew what Sycho was planning before it happened,
and him friending you on FB is *never* going to happen.
Damn.. lmao Even with the accidental slip of my originally
modified X headers he couldn't tell the difference? hahahahaha
Yep, way too much of the drink to notice. I played on that. :)
You did! :-)

As a matter of fact, thanks to my little Kevin Donovan SE,

That's not really funny - and I've changed it since then

Actually it is very funny, change your phone number again too,

Oh hell yeah, I think it's a riot.

Did an Apple Specialist determine that? What evidence did they submit
for review, David?

Do you intend to issue an apology when Sycho tells you he had nothing
to do with your imac crash?

For someone who's whined and threatened so much over a signature, you
don't seem to be seriously interested in it's removal. If you were,
you would already be doing what you were told needs to be done if you
wanted it removed. Attempting to circumvent that by telling stories
to police and various other agencies will not cause the removal of
the signature.

The only way it's going to be removed is when you quit stalking
people. For you, it's a very addictive drug so that explains your
druggie like effort to get around stopping. You weren't able to put
it down long enough to get the site admin to pull the site for you,
so I seriously doubt you'll be able to quit stalking cold turkey long
enough to get this signature removed.

I'm starting to wonder if you may have intentionally ignored warning
signs concerning your kid over an insurance policy. After all, You
have admitted multiple times that you went and bought a boat after he
passed.

That seems strange to me. For someone in mourning to go out and make
such a large purchase. Can you shed any light on that David?

You're right about the age. He gave that away numerous times. I had
that quite a while back, though not an exact date. But what is rather
telling about the page is the fact he knows what a LUSER he is and

I get a kick out of it when you go and post evidence of your own

Btw, as was the case with the anoncoward when it falsely claimed to

also lied when it claimed I also posted as Char Jackson. Your own

Dustin Cook is the fellow who has been 'owned'. He posts as 'Diesel'.
He also posts as Char Jackson.
Now, that does NOT surprise me!
I was wrong about his birthday though. :-( He was 40 last month.
People always want proof, so here it is:-

It seems the Brazilian abortionist left something out of his reply.
I'm performing a public service by repeating the matter here:
=======
Wouldn't you just LUV to meet his wife Stacie?

(I wonder if this woman has any idea of what a corrupt p.o.s.
she married?)

"He is survived by his loving wife Sue Edwards Davenport; children,

Good luck with that request being fulfilled. The individual is a
cowardly remailing stalker in his/her own right. They've been trying
to 'get me' rofl, for years. They even went so far as to claim they
knew people personally familiar with my arrest and followup probation
(rofl for a felony! hahaha, right) for the Melissa virus.

One of several problems with their story is that I was never arrested
for anything to do with the Melissa virus. And some of my own umm,
work was done after the Melissa virus author was caught and punished
which would have violated any such 'probation'

In other words, the anoncoward lies it's arse off much like David
Brooks does. Going so far as to outright make things up. Stories as
David likes to call them. lol.

It's funny how spin, deflection and denial works.. innit,
stalker?
You should stick to chasing Tornados!
Anything in particular really strike a nerve with you? As, it's a
FACT, not an opinion, that you have a tendency of performing all of
those aforementioned activities on a regular basis along with several
others he didn't list.

How does it feel to know that your online reputation is worse than my
own? That includes the anoncowards efforts to slime and further
besmirch me, and he's put years of his life he can't get back into
it; All for nothing. I like to remind him of that sometimes. All for
nothing. I repeat, All for nothing. Just like you.

Let's go over some things the anoncoward and yourself have in common.
You both stalk people. You both encourage others to help you stalk
people. And, you neither of you cares if you got the information
right or not. You'll both go after people who have nothing to do with
the problem you have when you can't get the person you have the
problem with. You'll both reach out to law enforcement and tell
stories hoping it'll be good and believable enough to bring the law
enforcement officers to your stalking victims house. You'll both
encourage stalking of other people either of you believes knows the
actual stalking victim or your target. You both do this when you
can't get a direct hit on your intended stalking victim.

Oh, and need I remind you, you're both bad about telling stories; and
you're both bad about getting caught doing it.

If I've missed something, please let me know, David.

"All for nothing." That's amusing.

No one communicates with DieselDum any longer - except for the handful
of sickos who have done so for more than a decade. Anyone else might
give a polite answer to him when he answers a question of theirs, but
that is it. EVERY SANE PERSON in the groups to which I have posted his
history want NOTHING to do with him. That is why he MUST create other
nyms with which to have any communication at all with the "normals" of
Usenet. The "Char Jackson" nym is his latest effort at this.

The blowhard ignorant thinks it takes an inordinate amount of time to
follow the stink of his sick presence on Usenet. Ha! All it takes is
one or twice a month to download headers and bodies from certain
groups and let my filters find his nyms along with his usual speech
patterns and accompnaying habitual syntax.

Have you ever realized that if it weren't for you, he'd have NO REASON
AT ALL for being on Usenet? YOU are responsible for 98% of his posts.
Without YOU, he'd be desperate to find another victim, since all his
past targets have either vacated the groups he posts to, or have him
effecitvely filtered. YOU ALONE are responsible for his HATEFUL
EXCREMENT he drops into Usenet each day. This perverted indulgence of
yours has completely destroyed your reputation on Usenet. He IS right
about that, but not because of any of his childish cartoons or
nonsensical reasoning, but because YOU allow this sick charade to
continue. It's hard for anyone to have any respect for you because of
your complete acquiescence in allowing him total control of your
online persona.

YOU are the chief ENABLER of his daily HATE dumped into Usenet.

Grow up! Realize that the others who rid themselves of him did not
"lose" any imagined battle with him. The did the SANE THING and rid
themselves of him in their online lives. You seem not to be able to
make such a SANE decision. YOU - nor any psychiatrist can cure a
psychopath.

I'm now working my way through your list of friends - I'm bound to find
ONE who will 'accept' me as THEIR friend too! I'll let you know.
Have a grand day, folks! :-)

That's his problem. He believes what he wants to believe and there's
nothing anyone can say that will convince him otherwise. It would be
better talking to a wall, honestly.
In fact, I don't know why he's even here in the first place. He has
zero technical knowledge, he keeps whining about how horrible it was
he was banned from some dumb ass forum that no one cares about and
he's a fucking troll to boot.
I sure wouldn't miss him if he slithered off somewhere and died.
He's been spanked numerous times by me and everybody else in here,
he's been dox'd silly, he's been trolled, pwned and humiliated it's
not even funny.
Hell, he even believes Kevin Donovan was his new found friend when
actually it was me the entire time! lol
Perhaps you DID post as Kevin Donovan - there's no way anyone could tell
is there? On the assumption that you DID do so, send me a 'Friend
Request' on Facebook to substantiate your claim.

He's a has been.. old news.. washed up and left to dry.. exposed..
That sounds rather sad ...... but do I CARE?!!
Yes. Otherwise you wouldn't be posting in here whining about being
butthurt, you fucking twat.
Oh, oops.. I meant, will you be my bestest buddy in the whole wide
world, dAAvid?
bwahahahaha!!!!

As a matter of fact, thanks to my little Kevin Donovan SE, I've got
his IP address and it only took two whole days to play him like a
fiddle..

hahahahahaha!!!!
That's not really funny - and I've changed it since then anyway!
I beg to differ. It WAS very funny. And I got the last laugh.. AT YOUR

All dAAvid has to do is compare the PicPaste image I took from Kevin
Donovan's FB profile and match the two in a FB search.. Oh, wait.. I
set that pic to expire 7 days after I posted it.

Oh darn.. *heavy sigh* Looks like he'll have to ping Kevin for it.

Just thinking aloud mind you....

I wonder how creative people can be. Easter is just around the
corner. :) Decent pics of BD and his wife are available, should
anyone like copies. BD's permission obviously isn't necessary as he
has no respect for other peoples property, so I have no respect for
his.

People like BD only learn the hard way.

Admission of further stalking noted. I do question why the remailing
coward gives you a freepass and makes shit up about me, though. I guess
it doesn't have enough good dirt on me. Oops.

Btw, Pax is a friend of mine from the old days. I don't know why it
assumes Pax and myself had any sort of issue. The remailer is a fine
demonstration of how the modern day public school education system has
failed, miserably. When I attended school, reading COMPREHENSION was
mandatory. It's obviously not the case for the remailer.

I deleted an earlier thread involving you and Dumble dAAvid with
regards to Usenet and M$ before I could do some digging...
He's still claiming M$ never used Usenet..
I claim SPANK!!

Google must not be his friend. :)
The links below will automatically launch OE or
Windows Mail and take you to the correct newsgroup.
http://aumha.org/support.htm
AUMHA is not MS, get that through your very thick skull.
I don't think that's possible. The alcohol has replaced his brain
cells with hinkies instead. It's like an old Folgers coffee commercial
on TV..

We've secretly replaced dAAvid's brain cells for hinkies.. let's see
if he notices!

MICROSOFT PUBLIC NEWSGROUPS
Updated February 14, 2007

There are many valuable newsgroups on the msnews.microsoft.com server,
on nearly every available topic and in many different languages.
Clicking the links below will automatically create any necessary account
configuration in Outlook Express or Wndows Mail (or other default
newsreader program) and take you directly to the newsgroup you have
selected — no complicated technical configurations are needed!

I strongly encourage you to visit the newsgroups with a newsreader such
as Outlook Express. Generally, people seeking help are better able to
find answers posted to their questions using a newsreader than if they
use Microsoft’s alternate web interface. These links make that easy to do.

You should probably try to leave Brazil and enroll in school.
You should probably try getting out of the basement and into a
shower. A clean set of clothes wouldn't hurt, either.

At some point, you should consider applying for your first job. Help
your mom with some of the monies you've cost her while sitting on
your fat ass in her basement these last two decades. Those bags of
chips and 2liters of soda aren't free, you know. She works hard
bagging those groceries to support you, since your dad decided enough
was enough and split. You'll have to lie on the application and check
the box that says you graduated. Nobody has to know that you left in
10th grade because it got to the point where it was just too hard for
you to continue on. Or, you could lie and claim you didn't graduate
but you got your GED. As long as they don't ask anything of you
beyond that of a typical high school kid who's about to become the
next drop out, you should be okay.

Clearly, this means no advancement opportunities of any real sort for
you, but, you can show them who's the boss with the mop bucket!

And finally,

Considering how long you've been gaining weight in your moms basement
entirely at her expense spanking off at whatever the latest disney
release is, one would think you would have learned how to quote a
post by now. Yet, you still, don't quote properly.

You're a shiny example of what's wrong with the federal government
assistance programs. Infact, I'd go so far as to say you're also a
perfect example of the outcome of such programs as they presently
are.

Google must not be his friend. :)
Microsoft's public usenet groups go on with or without Microsoft because
usenet is out of control. There is no control. Open minded free critical
thinkers like it that way. The following link works best with lynx:

nntp://news2.informatik.uni-stuttgart.de/microsoft.public.*

lynx causes some websites to freak out. It makes me suspect that some
standard issue security template rejects lynx as a known haxor browser.
No worries, just configure lynx to advertise itself like so:

lynx -useragent="L_y_n_x"

You can always configure lynx to advertise something else, should
"L_y_n_x" also get rejected. The next useragent string ought to be
welcome at all times everywhere. It tells the world wide web that you
bendy over goatse style and that you're wide open to whatever they want
to shove at you.

lynx -useragent="Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.3; Trident/7.0; rv:11.0) like Gecko"

There ARE, indeed, many advantages. :-)

Did you know that the server owner at news.dogagent.com actually BANS
folk so that the can't read the newsgroups there?!!!

Can you tell me why those VERY SAME newsgroups are also freely available
on a DIFFERENT server?

Yes, there are. One being that NOONE owns or controls the
un-moderated groups.

<CUT_STALKING>

There are disadvantages, however, psychopaths use Usenet to
STALK. But then you already knew that....
